They extend the winter schedule for schools in La Paz, Oruro and Potosí

The Ministry of Education determined to extend, from this Monday, May 30, the winter schedule for educational units of the departments of La Paz, Oruro and Potosí due to the low temperatures that have been recorded. While the other six departments will continue with the established schedule.

“As of Monday, May 30, the extended winter schedule will apply. This means that if the students entered at 8:00, now they will enter at 9:00, only at the initial and primary level, least in high school”, explained Bartolomé Puma, vice minister of Regular Education.

Puma said that in Santa Cruz, Beni, Pando, Chuquisaca, Tarija and Cochabamba the entry time it will still be half an hour earlier (8:00) than usual and for departure the same (5:30 pm).
