The Consulate of Spain in Venezuela reported on Friday, May 27, that the consular fees for our country were updated, specifying that they can only be paid in bolivars. Therefore, they emphasize that they will not accept dollars for the payment of these tariffs.
Those who must carry out some process of consular fees can only pay in cash and debit card (TDD) with a single payment. That is, you cannot use more than one financial tool to make the corresponding payment. In addition, the cardholder must be present and present the laminated identity card.
According to the portal of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, the costs of some procedures are as follows:
Passport issuance (for the first time or renewal): 157.00 Bs
- Visas: 418.00 Bs
- Children visa from 6 to 12 years old: 209.00 Bs
- Notarial procedures: From 200.00 to 250.00 Bs for a deed of five pages maximum. The final price depends on the number of pages among other elements
- Non-Resident Certificate: 38.00 Bs
- Initial authorization for temporary residence: 57.00 Bs
The amount of the visa fee is paid when the application is submitted, without this implying the granting of the visa or its refund if it is denied.
