Presidential candidate Rodolfo Hernández received a tender surprise while waiting for the result of the vote count from all polling stations nationwide.
It is worth noting that Hernández obtained 5,950,402 votes, the second best vote behind Gustavo Petro with 8,520,741 votes.
‘The engineer’, as he is often called by his profession, was sitting in the patio of his country house, drinking beer, shirtless and in shorts, when suddenly, his granddaughter arrived with a gift in hand.

It was a package wrapped in yellow and blue colored paper, the same colors of his party Anti-Corruption Leaders League.
Upon opening it, the candidate for the House of Nariño found a small portrait of him made by his own granddaughter.
Rodolfo Hernández was impressed with the painting and gave his granddaughter a hug. She for her part, gave him a kiss on the cheek and also hugged him.
In another rectangular package was a letter that the girl made to her grandmother. What the writing says was not revealed in the video.
It should be remembered that Hernández had stated that in the morning he would share with his family and in the afternoon he would go to his campaign headquarters to celebrate with his supporters.
Tonight from his country house in Santander, the candidate addressed those who cast their vote in favor of his candidacy and thanked them for this gesture of support.
Next June 19 will be the second round, the day on which the new president of the republic will be known.
