The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Santiago Cafieroassured this Sunday that businessmen “they know that they will find” an “ally” in the Argentine Foreign Ministry, within the framework of a meeting held in Mexico to explore new projects and motivate investments in Argentina.
“In Mexico I had a meeting with businessmen, whom I I invited Argentina to explore new projects and intensify the investment process. They run companies that are committed to our country and create jobs for Argentines, “said Cafiero through his Twitter account.

With the aim of deepening the commercial link, Cafiero is making an official visit to that North American country together with the Secretary of International Economic Relations, Cecilia Todesca Bocco.
In that sense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship met with representatives of Alsea“a company with Mexican capital that operates the Starbucks and Burger King brands in Argentina with 5,800 workers”, which so far in 2022 “incorporated 800 people and who plan to invest US$30 million in the period 2022-2023” in the country, according to the foreign minister.
Also, “The representatives of MABE and Rotoplas reported that they invested US$25 million and US$15 million in the development of their operations in our country. MABE increased its staff by more than 30%, going from a total of 1,705 in 2019 to 2,248 in 2022,” he explained.
“For its part, Coppel announced that it plans to increase by 50% the number of stores it owns in Argentina, where it already employs 2,000 workers. Owners and senior executives of the companies Femsa, Bimbo, Sigma and Endeavor were also present,” finished.
