Murillo applauds the Alba Summit and affirms that his regime "has always defeated" the United States

Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario Murillo applauded the XXI summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (Alba), which began this Friday in Cuba, to which the dictator Daniel Ortega also did not attend in person and limited himself to connecting through of a video conference.

The dictator Daniel Ortega participated virtually, who once again railed against the United States government and minimized the Summit of the Americas.

«The peoples of Alba, the governments of Alba always trying to be that beacon of light; that light, life and truth that Sandino spoke to us about,” said the spokeswoman for the Ortega regime.

She also described as “extraordinary” the speeches of the regimes of Cuba, Venezuela and the president of Bolivia, Luis Arce Catacora, who according to the deputy dictator, the latter “made a complete recount of what has been the interventionist, destructive policy of the North American empire who thinks we are his subjects.”

«The United States believes that we are not only its backyard, but its slaves, but this world, as Commander Daniel said, is not a world of slavery. Also, here in Nicaragua, we have always defeated them!” said the exalted first lady.

Regarding Nicaragua’s participation in the Alba summit, Murillo indicated that his regime feels “happy and proud to be part of that great brotherhood of our people and to be identity, culture and national sovereignty.”

“Honor and glory to our general Zeledón, Sandino, to our heroes who bequeathed us this heroic heritage that we venerate, that we revere and that we continue to build with dignity up high,” he added.

Ortega rants against the United States

For his part, the dictator Daniel Ortega, during his monologue from Managua, attacked the United States calling it “terrorist” and “criminal”, called for the economic blockade of the dictatorships of Cuba and Venezuela, and praised the regional forums where he can still participate although he does not attend either.

Ortega assured that under ALBA “the dream of Simón Bolívar and (Augusto C.) Sandino, of forming the Community of Caribbean and Latin American States (CELAC), was fulfilled.”

The 10 member countries of the Alba are: Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica, Grenada, Nicaragua, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Venezuela. Everyone participates today in the continental event.

«The Summit (of the Americas) of the empire»

The United States organizes the Summit of the Americas and yesterday, Thursday, May 26, confirmed that it will not invite the dictatorships of Nicaragua, Cuba and Venezuela for violating human rights in their respective countries. After the decision of the North American administration, Ortega assured that he was not interested in participating in said event.

«There is no need for the Summit of the Americas, which is the summit of the empire that thinks that there is still room for that type of summit where the empire summoned the countries of its backyard, subject to the Monroe doctrine to dictate to them, and excluded the countries that had decided to build their own path, like Cuba,” said the Nicaraguan dictator.

The dictator also accused the United States of leading the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) “against the Russian federation, trying to take over the Russia that Napoleon tried to dominate and where he sank, the Russia that tried to take over the Nazis.”

Despite the international rejection and repudiation of the Nicaraguan dictatorship, both Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo assure that “they continue to reap victories and fight hate,” referring to the political opposition in this country.
