Brazil recorded, in the last 24 hours, 40,633 more cases of covid-19. In the same time period, 139 more deaths were reported as a result of the virus, according to the epidemiological bulletin released this Friday (27) by the Ministry of Health, based on data sent by state and municipal health departments.
The total number of confirmed cases of the disease since the beginning of the pandemic is 30,921,145, and that of deaths, 666,319.
Also according to the bulletin, 29,939,873 people have recovered from the disease and there are 314,953 infected people in follow-up.
The bulletin also reports that there are 3,265 deaths from severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) under investigation.

States
In terms of number of infections, São Paulo is the state with the highest number of confirmed cases (5.49 million), followed by Minas Gerais (3.40 million), Paraná (2.51 million), Rio Grande do Sul (2.42 million). million) and Rio de Janeiro (2.18 million).
The state of São Paulo also has the highest number of deaths from the disease (169,187), followed by Rio de Janeiro (73,797), Minas Gerais (61,544) and Paraná (43,299).
The states with the fewest deaths are Acre (2,002), Amapá (2,134), Roraima (2,152) and Tocantins (4,157).
Vaccination
According to the Ministry of Health, so far, 433 million doses of vaccines against covid-19 have been applied in the country.
176.9 million people received the first dose and 158.8 million received the second dose. The single dose of Janssen’s vaccine was given to 4.8 million people, 85.1 million received at least one booster dose and 4 million the second booster.
