More than 30 thousand 800 people fight against covid-19 in Panama

In the last 24 hours, the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) details that 3,951 new positive cases have been registered, which leaves a cumulative of 843,697 cases of Covid-19.
In addition, three deaths are reported for a cumulative of 8,239 deaths as a result of the disease and a lethality of 1.0%.

According to the report, there are 30,857 active cases, of which 30,612 are in home isolation and 245 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 30,563 at home and 49 in hotels. Those hospitalized in 205 in the Ward and 40 in the ICU.

Those recovered amount to 804,601 people, of which 2,120 are added as newly recovered. 16,218 tests were applied for a positivity of 24.4%.

The districts that reported the highest number of cases today were: Rufina Alfaro in San Miguelito with 147; San Francisco and Juan Díaz in the capital with 131 and 129 cases, respectively. David in Chiriquí with 107 and Penonomé in Coclé 105.

In the world, 529,850,530 accumulated cases of Covid-19 and 486,167,317 people recovered have been recorded to date; in addition to 6,306,519 deaths from the coronavirus.
