The man had been detained since last week, when an operation managed to rescue the young woman and capture four of those involved.

During the early morning of this May 26, «Cicpc officials transferred him in an official unit bound for Caracas. At kilometer 93 of the Autopista Regional del Centro, the subject used the handcuffs to hang the driver causing him to lose control, collide with a truck and then stop on the side in a wooded area, “explained Camacho.

Before getting out of the unit, Sierra disarmed an officer and ran into the wooded area. After which a persecution originated, giving rise to a confrontation in which he finally ended up assassinated. An official was injured.

Rescue of Frányely Guerrero

Last Thursday it was learned that, during the early hours, the Cicpc managed to find the location where they kept kidnapping Frányely Guerrero, who was in captivity for almost five months, as she was kidnapped in Barinas on December 30 when she left a beauty salon .

“Thanks to the intelligence work of the Cicpc for 4 months and 20 days, in an impeccable operation, we have rescued the citizen of Barin, Frányely Guerrero, who is safe with her relatives.” This was reported on Thursday, May 19, by Remigio Ceballos, Minister of Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace.

And confirmed the arrest of four people. Commissioner Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc, reported on Guerrero’s rescue on his social networks.

“Today, in coordination with all citizen security agencies, after 140 days of investigating the crime, for the crime of kidnapping, the 23-year-old citizen Frányely Guerrero was rescued,” he wrote when sharing two videos in which the young woman is seen accompanied by a group of officials.

“I’m fine. Thank you all, thank you all for her prayers,” Guerrero said, visibly moved.

Likewise, after the news, an emotional video began to circulate on social networks in which Guerrero’s reunion with his loved ones is observed.

Bailing out

The next day the moment of the rescue was disclosed. In the images, officials are seen entering a room in which another woman, presumably one of the captors, is observed, visibly confused.

Meanwhile, an official shouts “he’s here”, apparently alluding to the keys of the handcuffs with which they kept the victim tied, as other agents ask for those keys to free her.

Subsequently, several agents are seen in a small space, which appears to have been a closet. There they kept Frányely Guerrero handcuffed, who appears distressed, while the officials try to calm her down.
