Senate summons applicants to the TSJE for this Monday

The Constitutional Affairs Commission, chaired by Martín Arévalo, national senator for the ANR (“Honor Colorado”), will convene the members of the two shortlists of applicants who aspire to the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) for this Monday, May 30 , at 10:30 in the morning.

It should be remembered that the shortlist one is made up of Emilio Camacho, César Rossel and Édgar Urbieta. While the shortlist two is made up of Myriam Cristaldo, Jorge Bogarín and Gustavo López Benítez.

At the end of the meeting, the commission will recommend the selection of one candidate per list. The Senate has time, until July 5, to elect the next TSJE ministers, considering that the document was sent by the Judicial Council on May 24. In other words, the Upper House has 30 days to decide.
