In the chapter on requests and formulations of today’s ordinary session, Senator Lucas Aquino asked to fix the project for the disaffection of the squares adjoining Congress to be fixed within three weeks.
The request was approved and the legislative proposal may be studied in the session on Thursday, June 16.
The project disaffects the De Armas, Juan de Salazar, Constitución, De la Independencia and Plaza del Congreso squares from the municipal domain and authorizes the Municipality of Asunción to transfer them free of charge to the Paraguayan State.
The objective of the initiative is to restore, revalue and preserve the squares, as well as to invest in the safety of visitors.
