A couple of days ago, the tourist city of Santa Marta witnessed a painful and macabre event that ended with the violent murder of a mother and her two children in a humble home in the La Invasión neighborhood, in the Villa Concha sector. Who perpetrated the triple homicide was identified by neighbors as alias ‘El Chocoano’.
His real name, according to what was specified and informed by the local authorities and the National Police, is Luis E. Cuesta A., between 30 and 40 years old.

It happened in a humble home in the La Invasión neighborhood, in the Villa Concha sector.
After his disappearance, authorities began an intense search to find his whereabouts, even from the Santa Marta Mayor’s Office A reward of up to 10 million pesos was offered for information that would allow him to be found.
There were several speculations and preliminary data where it was stated “he had been captured in Chocó”, however, the Police recently confirmed the information.

Authorities confirmed that Luis E. Cuesta, alias ‘El Chocoano’ “surrendered voluntarily” during Wednesday afternoon at the Rio Sucio Police Station, Chocó attached to the Urabá Police Department.
They indicated that “according to the information provided by the CTI and the Santa Marta Metropolitan Police, this subject would be responsible for the triple homicide that occurred in the last few hours against a woman and her two children in the Bahía Concha sector.”
Upon delivery, the subject was transferred by helicopter to the municipality of Apartadó, in Antioquia, where «was made available to the competent authority«.

A neighbor of the sector witnessed the screams that warned that something was happening with the children and their motherstated that the episodes of mistreatment, aggression were constant in this man towards Emperatriz.
