Querétaro prepares its participation in the Hannover Messe

Queretaro, Qro. The state is one of the Mexican entities that will participate in the Hannover Messe, in Germany, considered one of the largest industrial fairs in the world and that will take place from May 30 to June 2

The entity will have a stand within the 65 hectares of floor for exhibition that make up the fair and in which there is a potential to receive 200,000 visitors in the four days of activities, explained the secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio del Third Price.

Therefore, he specified that this is the main reason why a delegation of public servants and local businessmen will travel to Germany.

“We will be setting up a very worthy stand, very similar to the last time we participated, with an outstanding participation, in the business and global markets pavilion (…) It is an opportunity to show the world what Querétaro has to offer,” he commented. .

“We will attend business appointments, companies interested in investing, we hope to bring good news of project completion, of important investment announcements for the state (…) No more than five Mexican states are going to the Hannover fair,” he explained.

The delegation is made up of the governor, Mauricio Kuri González, the head of Sedesu, among other officials. The assistance of the Secretary of Education, Martha Elena Soto Obregón, is also expected to strengthen the implementation of the dual education model.

“To promote alliances and educational linkage. The important thing is the link that exists between academia and industry; and the dual education model is a virtuous model; In that sense, we will be linking the industry with the educational sector, which is what has made Querétaro different from other states,” he said.

Likewise, the leaders of the Automotive Cluster, Plastics Cluster, Vórtice IT Querétaro (Information Technology Cluster), as well as local representatives of the Mexican Business Council of Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (Comce), of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra) and the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex).

Italy

As part of the tour, the governor will attend a diplomatic mission in Italy on Friday, April 3, where he will meet with Italian businessmen, following an invitation from the Mexican ambassador to Italy, Carlos García de Alba.

“Then the governor will attend a diplomatic tour, on Friday, where he will attend Italian companies. Italy is one of the main commercial partners of the state, and the aim is to strengthen Mexico’s relationship with Italy, with a full work agenda”, he explained.

In Italy, he said, it is expected to make an important investment announcement for the state. Meanwhile, business appointments are already scheduled.
