The death toll in the car accident occurred in the early hours of this Tuesday in the eastern Cuban province of Granmarose to three with the death of a woman who was initially among the injured, according to local media reports.
Despite the medical care provided at the Celia Sánchez Manduley Hospital in Manzanillo, after most of the injured arrived at this medical institution, the death of a third 35-year-old victim could not be prevented, says a published note by the newspaper The Demajagua.
according to another information also disclosed by local media, so far 15 injured in the event, including three minors, are being treated in hospitals in the territory.

The accident which had preliminarily left two dead, occurred when a truck with passengers rushed down one of the sides of the road, while traveling on the road that connects the Granma municipalities of Media Luna and Campechuela, in an area known as La Norma.
Dr. Yelenis Elías, director of Public Health in Granma, informed The Demajagua that, until Tuesday night, four people remained in the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Provincial General Hospital, in Bayamo, reported critical, three of them stable and one in danger to life.
In addition, he said, in that health institution there was a minor with a head injury, although his clinical condition remained stable.
The directive specified that at the Hermanos Cordovés Pediatric Hospital, in Manzanillo, two other infants were receiving medical assistance, without danger to life, while at the Celia Sánchez Manduley Teaching Surgical Clinical Hospital, in that same city, about one tens of wounded in the secondary level.
Although the causes of the accident are still being investigated, local residents commented that the truck lost control and overturned, the publication said.
