The Comptroller General of the Republic stated that the claim of Dina Boluarte, Vice President of the Republic, is invalid. On the afternoon of this Wednesday, May 25, the also head of Development and Social Inclusion published her protest for the Specific Audit Report on Sworn Statements 005-2022-CG / FID-FEDJ, since, according to her version, he was not notified.
Boluarte even said that the control body “took advantage of his absence” due to the representative trip he made to Switzerland and again claimed that he does not know the content of the official letter sent to the other state entities on May 24.

It was for this reason that the Renovación Popular caucus found the support to present a constitutional complaint against the second head of the Executive. Due to what was stated in the Comptroller’s document, the alleged infraction in articles 2, 38 and 126 of the Constitution in which Boluarte had incurred was presented to the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations.
However, the Comptroller’s Office spoke out and was forceful. “Yes, his right to defense was respected by requiring the defenses and he was notified of the request for corresponding clarifications on two occasions”, says the statement they published.
On March 10, as part of the process of auditing their sworn statements of income, assets and income and interest, the official letter sent by the Comptroller N° 00045-2022-CG/FIS was notified as valid and on April 20 issued document No. 00057-2022-CG/FIS. In both documents, the corresponding clarifications were requested. The responses from Boluarte’s office were signed by her through two letters made on March 21 and April 27, respectively.
Regarding the last report to which the vice president mentioned, the body “adequately communicated to the official the result of the audit of her affidavits.” Letter No. 000003-2022-CG/FIS detailing the aforementioned was signed as received by the minister herself on May 20, 2022.

“We act in a legal and technical manner,” they assert from the Comptroller’s Office. That is to say, the claim of the owner of the Midis, who could have incurred a constitutional infraction, would be false.
