“Listen to me. Me in Transportation (Ministry of Transport and Communications) I have everything organized. Consulted by La República, the political analyst Alonso Cárdenas, from the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University, considered yes. In this regard, he indicated that the image of Pedro Castillo “has gone down the drain” due to the expectations that he generated when he was a candidate. In this sense, with the publication of the supposed audiosthe head of state will accentuate the impression that his mandate is increasingly weak, disorderly and erratic.
“Pedro Castillo’s image has foundered. It’s a very quick loss of approval. The expectations that were generated were very high. The management capacity of the Government —say Peru Libre and also those close to Castillo— is very poor (…). The perception (with the broadcast of the audios) is that the Government is becoming weaker, more disorderly, more erratic. It falls into many contradictions and there is no defined north”, the political scientist explained to this newspaper.
In the same way, he commented that the broadcast of the audios that presumably compromise President Pedro Castillo lengthens the continuous crisis suffered by his Government, which has been characterized by the constant scandals that have dotted the president and his relatives.

Like Alonso Cárdenas, the political analyst Katherine Zegarra indicated that the publication of the audios affects the image of Pedro Castillo. She considered that, thus, an idea is projected to the citizens that the Executive uses the State “as a job bank” rather than to prioritize the well-being of the population.
“It clearly affects the image of peter castle in the sense that more information is being provided on how the State is being treated as a kind of job bank in which well-being or the common good is not prioritized”, explained the political scientist.

Likewise, he considered that with the publication of the audios, the trust that Congress or, in particular, the citizenry, who have been expectant before the promises of peter castle in the electoral campaign, although he admitted that it is too early to know its outcome.
“This directly harms the president in the sense that they can generate some type of vacancy or that it would imply the end of Pedro Castillo’s mandate, but I think it’s still too early to identify him.” he pointed.
