After two days of intense search, law enforcement officers belonging to the Department of Emergency Units of Quillabamba (Cusco) managed to recover the body of a person, who had accidentally fallen into the waters of the Vilcanota River when escaping from a swarm of bees.

Wilfredo Páucar (35), is the person who lost his life when he fell into the aforementioned river in circumstances that he was in a meeting of friends in the local ‘Mistika’, located in the jirón Gamarra of the district of Santa Ana, next to the Vilcanota River.
Although the incident occurred last Monday, it was only on Wednesday that the authorities gave notice of the discovery of the body. on one of the islets in the Sambaray area of La Convencion.
After the recovery of the body, police personnel from the Investigation, Criminalistics and Legal Medicine of the Police, carried out the lifting of order, arranged by the representative of the Public Ministry, ordering his transfer and internment in the morgue of the hospital in the city of Quillabamba.
