The Costa Rican company Datasys who had applied to the National Electoral Council (CNE) to advance the international audit of the presidential elections, pronounced himself after said hiring fell.
The company regretted that Colombians do not have this surveillance for what will be the elections this Sunday and attacked the CNE warning that there were “administrative delays” and “delays” in this process.
“It is unfortunate for the Colombian people and for us as serious and responsible businessmen, that due to the administrative delays of the CNE and the delay in signing the contract due to external pressures, the time remaining to carry out a correct forensic audit is not ideal. Today they are a risk, ”she indicated.

Datasys reiterated that it does have enough experience of more than 24 years to comply with the audit that was being requested and denied the complaints that it has processes in countries like Honduras, for possible irregularities in the elections.
“We regret this outcome because from the beginning we have put our best team of experts and data scientists to work on this project. We ratify that we have the experience that we accredit before the CNE through 7 letters from Honduras, Costa Rica, Spain, China and the Netherlands. We always had the good spirits and good faith to offer our technology and consulting services. It is a loss for the electoral process that Colombia is going through,” said Datasys.
The company revealed a document from the Honduran Attorney General’s Office with which it makes it clear that there are no pending processes or lawsuits against it.

“We make it very clear that Datasys Group has never been sanctioned in Honduras or in any other country where it operates. In fact, the Honduran Attorney General’s Office issued a certificate in the possession of the CNE, which says the following about Datasys: ‘It has not been subject to a firm resolution of the contract entered into with the public administration and there are no lawsuits or pending claims against it, promoted by the state of honduras, during the last 5 years for reasons of previous or ongoing contracts’”, the firm stated.
They rejected the accusations made by Senator María Fernanda Cabal against Dennis Cascante Hernández, representative of Datasys and they denied having any type of commercial relationship with companies such as Indra and Thomas Greg and Sons.
“Datasys has always complied in Honduras, Colombia and in all the countries where it operates with local legislation. He has never had a penalty. It is a company that is governed by certified corporate governance standards, which guarantees transparency and ethics in all its processes,” the statement concludes.
