Panama and San Miguelito continue to lead the districts with the most positive cases of Covid-19

Three people died in the last 24 hours due to covid-19, this according to the latest report from the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, who reported that there were also 3,876 new positive cases, for a total of 835,921 accumulated cases.
The authorities highlighted that there is a positivity of 24.3% and that 15,973 tests were applied to detect the disease.

For this Tuesday, May 24, 3,032 recovered are reported and 27,455 active cases are registered; of them 27,197 are in home isolation and 258 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 27,135 at home and 62 in hotels. Those hospitalized in 220 in the Ward and 38 in the ICU.

The corregimientos that continue to record the highest number of cases are: San Francisco in Panama City with 129; Rufina Alfaro in San Miguelito with 128; Juan Díaz 121 and Bethania 106, both in the capital district.
