The Chamber of Deputies recognized this Tuesday the political trajectory and contributions to the democratic institutionality of the recognized leader of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) and general director of Ethics and Government Integrity, Mrs. Miracles Maria Ortiz Bosch.
The act held in the Hugo Tolentino Dipp Hall of the Lower House was led by the president of that body, Alfredo Pacheco, together with deputies from all parties and personalities of national life.
Pacheco stated that Ortiz Bosch’s footsteps are still being felt since that time he worked in the National Congress, and that, when he was senator of the National District, they were able to jointly promote important laws that have left an indelible mark on Dominicans.
The president of the Chamber of Deputies expressed that the official has worked enormously for freedom, for which she was honored to deliver the parchment of recognition.

The document highlights from his birth in the midst of the dictatorship of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo to his constant struggles for democracy and fight for the economic and social interests of the Dominican Republic.
