The body of delegates and the workers of Monsa-Line 60 carried out this Tuesday morning a protest with a partial cut of the Campana Pan-American Highway (AU), at kilometer 42, in the town of Ingeniero Maschwitz, hand towards the city of Buenos Aires.
The demonstration was held in rejection of the dismissal of a candidate for delegate, union spokesmen reported.
“They kicked out a colleague who was running for union delegate,” Néstor Marcolín told Télamone of the spokesmen for the workers.
The union protest took place from 9:30 am, with a partial cut in the Pan-American AU, hand towards the City of Buenos Aires, in the Buenos Aires party of Escobar.
In a document released by union delegates at the Monsa company, the bus drivers explained the reasons for the force measure.
“The protest is due to the dismissal of Carlos Zaragoza, a candidate for delegate, elected through internal elections. This election was held last Tuesday, May 17, and 80 percent of the total company workers participated. (689 companions). The general election will be held next Tuesday, May 31”they specified.
With the signature of the union representatives Esteban Simonetta, Bonifacio Espinoza and Carlos Zaragoza, the workers warned that the “dismissal of (Carlos) Zaragoza is not the only one” that has occurred in that firm in recent days.
“In recent times, the company’s board, managed by the monopoly group Dota, has initiated a series of dismissals. Thus, the freedom of workers to elect their own delegates is ignored, in an anti-union practice. We reject the dismissals and we warn that we will find ourselves demanding the corresponding reinstatement of colleagues,” they pointed out.
