The Minister of Health of the Nation, Carla Vizzettihighlighted in his speech that the current need in health “demands more regional integration, more cooperation, more development and, above all, more solidarity and empathy”.
Besides Carla Vizzetti noted that only with the relaunch of a global health agenda, it will be possible to “strengthen the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the post-pandemic world”.
Under this framework, the minister recalled that the coronavirus pandemic has not been overcome, and that this requires all the maximum effort of the Governments, especially to redouble vaccination.

This, given that, despite the fact that more than a year has passed since the coronavirus vaccine began to be applied, there are still countries with serious delays in the immunization process, since they have little access to the biological one.
“There are still countries that have not had access to these supplies and that have low vaccination rates. This represents a moral failure of the multilateral and regional cooperation system that we must correct immediately and keep in mind for future emergencies.”
In addition, the president pointed out that as nations it is a priority to face the effects that the pandemic has left until now, and recalled that the health emergency was a trigger to make the health system a priority.
“It is important that we take the time to look back, see the road traveled and remember it so that no one can ever again say that health is not a priority.”

The minister He stated that the Government will work on two key axes of the national agenda for the health emergency; the first is the Federal Strategy for the Comprehensive Approach to Mental Health and Problematic Consumption.
The second will be the integration of the Health System, since for the president it is a priority that citizens receive quality health care in an equitable manner.
