Reyes stressed that this temporary suspension is based on what is established by Resolution 080, of April 13, 2022. He added that this place was inspected twice and that in this second inspection they found greater irregularities than the previous time.
A restaurant located in the Vía España area was temporarily closed this Monday morning due to repeated non-compliance with sanitary measures.
Francisco Reyes, medical director of the Parque Lefevre polycenter, pointed out that they carried out inspections in other premises in which fines were imposed that were accompanied by surveillance of compliance with health regulations.
Reyes stressed that this temporary suspension is based on what is established by Resolution 080, of April 13, 2022. He added that this place was inspected twice and that in this second inspection they found greater irregularities than the previous time.
“The restaurant in 2019 was sanctioned with temporary closure for maintaining unsanitary conditions in the kitchen, placing food products on the floor, refrigerators with decomposing food and cross contamination, it was corrected at the time, but now we are sanctioning it again for its recidivism in the sanitary faults through the resolution of the Ministry of Health”, he said, indicating that so far in 2022 they have sanctioned more than 100 premises and that the fines range from 1 to 500 dollars.
He recommended that the population verify the food or meals that they consume in restaurants for their texture, smell and presentation, in addition to seeing the presentation of those who prepare the food, whether it is the use of clothing, long nails, loose hair, and report any irregularity. .
