The first Vice President and Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarteresponded to the report of the Comptroller General of the Republicsent to Congress, where they warn an alleged constitutional infraction against him. He assured that he requested permission from the Departmental Association Club Apurímac Yet the Association of Departmental Clubs of Peruhence ruled out having infringed article 126 of the Magna Carta.
In the statement, boluarte also ruled out that he received a remuneration or benefit on behalf of both institutions, highlighting that both are non-profit associations. He maintained that his sole objective was to participate in these entities whose purpose is the promotion of the cultural expression of Peru.
“Like all citizens, I have the right to participate in the life of non-profit civil associations, especially when they represent the cultural development of our country, as is the case of the Club Apurímac Departmental Association, as well as the Association of Departmental Clubs From Peru, institutions from which I have not received nor do I receive any remuneration or benefit, those that are dedicated to the promotion of our cultural expression”, He posted through his Twitter account.

In this line, the first vice president of the Republic reiterated her “unrestricted respect for article 126 of the Constitution. He warns that he applied for a license in both institutions before assuming the public functions that she holds as Minister of State and Vice President, “which were granted by both institutions in a timely manner.” She thus ruled out that there was “any incompatibility with the exercise of both positions.”

They will analyze alleged constitutional infraction of Boluarte
On the last May 20, it was Comptroller General of the Republic submitted a report to the Congress of the Republic where he reports on an alleged constitutional infraction committed by the First Vice President and Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Dina Boluarte. This document would also have been sent to the member of the Executive.
The report warns of an alleged violation of Article No. 126 of the Political Constitution of Peru, which states the following: “Ministers may not exercise any other public function, except the legislative one. (…) The ministers cannot be managers of their own interests or those of third parties, nor carry out a lucrative activity, nor intervene in the direction or management of companies or private associations”.
