Gertz Manero does not wear out the conflict with Scherer, considers AMLO

In recent weeks, the prosecutor was involved in a complaint against his ex-sister-in-law for the death of his brother, Federico Gertz. He is also accused of alleged influence peddling of the former legal adviser of the Presidency of the Republic, Julio Scherer, and more recently in an accusation against Scherer’s lawyers, for influence peddling, money laundering and extortion.

The federal president considered that the matters in which he has been involved are of a legal nature, so he will not get involved until it is something more serious.

“It has to do with public ministries, judges, and we’ll stop there. Only when it’s a very serious matter, then we do participate, but there are many lawsuits, complaints, complaints of all kinds. Here I would spend a whole day talking about the lawsuits, for example of inheritances,” he said.

Alejandro Gertz Manero is the first Attorney General of the Republic. During his more than three years at the head of the FGR he has been accused of making political and personal use of justice, of influence peddling and even of using the apparatus for revenge.
