A report by Fourth Estate revealed that the congressman (Popular Action), who is accused of belonging to the group called ‘‘, he borrowed a van from Parliament, which he broke down and still does not pay any of the repairs that cost the institution S / 17,630.

The Sunday newspaper contacted the head of Congress Transportation, Jaime Hilasaca, who reported that, in November 2021, the legislator requested this vehicle, which can only be used within Lima and 50 kilometers around. However, without authorization, Espinoza decided to take the truck to Bayóvar, in the Piura region, breaking the law..

A technical report indicated that the vehicle was completely inoperative, with the engine unusable due to the pressure of a piston that was fired and that it had to be repaired by Congress, without deducting a single one from the parliamentarian.

Fourth Estate dialogued with darwin espinozawho indicated that he had committed this offense due to alleged ignorance, because, according to what he said, they did not inform him that he was not authorized to take the van out of the capital.

Likewise, the legislator maintained that he has signed a document to receive a monthly discount from his salary, but despite this, he has not yet been charged anything.

When questioned about this issue, Espinoza explained that he has already fulfilled his obligations and added that he will be waiting for said deduction from his salary to be fulfilled.

From now on I will be pending every month so that my discount can be seen“, said.

The Sunday newspaper also asked the Popular Action legislator about his presence in Piura in November 2021, but he noted that he does not remember why he went to this region or who he met with.

It seems to me that it was for some projects that they wanted us to make viable and also for the formalization of some properties (…) I don’t remember (who I met with) because it was a place far removed from Piura”, he declared.
