The presidential candidate of the Republic, Soledad Núñez, officially launched her political campaign yesterday. ANDRepresentatives of the opposition sector participated in the event: the pre-candidate for the presidency Euclides Acevedo, the son of Efraín Alegre and other representatives of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party, as well as some mayors and councilors from various parts of the country.
“Today is a big milestone for everyone. I’ve never done electoral party politics before, I’ve been in politics all my life. I found in each action one thing that allowed me to do something good for our country », he highlighted in the middle of his launch, adding that eThat is the true policy that must be recovered from the hands of those who have it kidnapped.
Civil society leaders, indigenous organizations and communities also accompanied the launch of the campaign, while gFolk groups animated the event with popular dances and entrepreneurs offered their gastronomic proposals.
“It is outrageous that our country has the conditions, it has the resources to make sure that we all live well. However, that reality is kidnapped in the hands of a few. We live in a country that, despite all the resources and wealth, has not yet been able to guarantee the vital liquid for the entire population », he stressed.
Likewise, he expressed his position towards criminal organizations, stating that he is not afraid of them and that he will fight.
“Some say that because I am a woman I am weak, they do not know the strength of the Paraguayan woman who rebuilt this country countless times. I have two certainties: one, that it can be done; and the other, that I can’t alone. It doesn’t matter if you are an opponent or an official », she pointed out in her speech and then underlined that in 2023, the concertation will be the government in Paraguay and that she is not afraid because she knows that she will be accompanied in the process.
