During the closing of the campaign of the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Gustavo Petro, a lot of color was seen, different movements expressing their voice of support for the also senator.
More than 60,000 people attended the Plaza de Bolívar, in the center of the country’s capital. They participated with family or friends with harangues such as “I was not paid, I came because I wanted to” and “Petro president and “France vice president”.

With the ‘Change for Life’ festival, as they called this tour of more than 100 demonstrations in the public square, they assured that “it is time for change”.
In the first place, the vice-presidential formula, Francia Márquez, addressed the attendees, who assured that “the time has come to heal the country and that it will only be achieved with the hope of all Colombians.”

“We must not allow ourselves to generate fear, we must go to the polls and vote for change. The new direction to which we are heading is what should motivate us and see how we can live well and in peace,” he said.
For his part, candidate Petro continued to assure that “You don’t want to keep things as they are in the country, that it is necessary to stop the scourge that the country is experiencing.”
“We could not choose a better place to close the cycle, such as the avant-garde city. We want inequalities and infinite violence not to continue, the people can’t take it anymore, ”she asserted.
It is worth mentioning that there were more than 900 Bogotá police officers who accompanied this event, in the center of the capital, and that they had the participation of musical artists such as Wilfrido Vargas, the Gaiteros de San Jacinto, the Rolling Ruanas, among others.
