The driver of the truck that was involved in a multiple collision in Obrajes, in the south of La Paz, this Friday afternoon is in custody while the investigation of this traffic event that left eight injured is being carried out.
“The driver is in the capacity of apprehended, he is being treated by doctors at this time, but the case with the first investigations will be brought to the attention of the Prosecutor’s Office so that they can determine his legal situation,” reported the director of Traffic of the South zone, Nilo Torrico.

The authority detailed that the accident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Ormachea Avenue, at the height of 3rd and 4th Streets, where a truck carrying construction materials hit a private vehicle and a minibus carrying nine children. of which five resulted in injuries.
The other three injured are the two people who were in the truck, who were trapped between the iron bars of the cabin, and another victim from the third vehicle.
