The Spanish League is going to file a "complaint" against Paris SG

Madrid, Spain | AFP | LaLiga, the body that manages professional football in Spain, announced this Saturday in a statement that it will file a “complaint” against Paris Saint-Germain for its millionaire renewal of Kylian Mbappé, to defend “the economic ecosystem of European football and the sustainability of the same”.

In its statement, LaLiga affirms that the conduct of the PSG president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, “is a danger to European football” and that for this reason it is going to “file a complaint against PSG before UEFA, French administrative and tax authorities and before the competent bodies of the European Union”.

For months, Mbappé seemed very close to signing for Real Madrid, until this Saturday the news of his renewal with PSG until 2025 was known.

A few hours before the LaLiga statement, its president, Javier Tebas, had shown his anger on Twitter.

“What PSG is going to do by renewing Mbappé with large amounts of money (to know where and how he pays them) after losing 700 million euros (739 million dollars) in recent seasons and having more than 600 million euros (633 million dollars) of wages, is an INSULT to football. (PSG president Nasser) Al Khelafi is as dangerous as the Super League, “he said.

In the past, LaLiga has already filed a complaint against PSG for not respecting UEFA’s financial ‘fair play’ and the European football body then sanctioned the French team, before the decision was revoked by the Court of Arbitration for Sport ( TAS).
