The Mexican economy outlines six consecutive months with growth

By sectors, secondary activities grew at an annual rate of 2.5% and tertiary activities at an annual rate of 1.4%.

At a monthly rate, the IOAE estimates a growth of .5% in secondary activities and .4% in the tertiary sector.

The Timely Indicator of Economic Activity (IOAE) estimates that, in April, the Mexican economy grew .4% per month, a lower rate than that estimated for the month of March, of 1.1%. If these estimates materialize, the Global Indicator of Economic Activity would accumulate six consecutive months of growth.

The Timely Indicator of Economic Activity (IOAE) estimates in advance the performance of the economy before the publication of the IGAE general index, a benchmark of monthly GDP.
