Santo Domingo.- The provinces of Santo Domingo and Azua continue to be the places where the largest amount of drugs are seized, according to the records of the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD).
The National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif), which is in charge of examining the seized drugs, reported that 700 kilograms of drugs were incinerated today, more than 98% of cocaine, also seized in Santiago, San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor , La Altagracia, Sánchez Ramírez and Espaillat.
The narcotics had a total weight of 645,901 kilograms, which included 633,371 kilograms of cocaine, for 98.06%, and 11,899 kilograms of marijuana, equivalent to 1.84%.

The act took place in the compound of the Army of the Dominican Republic, in the Pedro Brand municipality, Santo Domingo province, where it was announced that since last January to date a total of 19,071,286 kilograms of different drugs used in the work against drug trafficking have been incinerated. which takes place throughout the country.
