Citizens of Venezuelan nationality, Jesús Sojo Rojas and Yuleiki Vargas Piñango were arrested for the alleged crime against the crime of illicit drug trafficking.
The young people of 29 and 24 years of age, respectively, were intervened in the kilometer 711 of the Panamericana Sur of Arequipa, in the district of Atico in the province of Caravelí as members of the alleged organization The Caracas.
Both were traveling in a lead vehicle, where the driver was the man. During the vehicle search it was found a flat tire in the trunk, but suspiciously it had an unusual weight, so the officers opened the tire and inside they found 5 brick-like silver-lined packets.
After tests carried out with reagents, it was discovered that the bricks were cocaine hydrochloride, equivalent to 5 kilos, for which both young people were detained by the alleged crime of illicit drug trafficking.
