At least 188 people were apprehended in the last 24 hours in ‘Operation Alfil 2022’

During the last 24 hours, the security forces apprehended 188 people through 41 raids where 7 firearms, 112 ammunition were seized, and 1,270 tickets were placed for traffic violations.

In the arrests of “Operation Bishop 2022” developed at the national level, 115 were for Trades, 39 for Administrative Misdemeanors, 17 for Flagrancia, 14 for micro-trafficking, 3 for drug trafficking and 290 dollars were seized.

During the operations, 4 vehicles were recovered that had been reported for theft, a boat was seized, two emergency evacuations were carried out, and 13 foreigners with expired stays, evasion of immigration controls, and alert impediments and undocumented persons were detected, respectively.

Likewise, 1,270 tickets were placed for various infractions of the Traffic Regulations, of these 429 were for speeding, 12 for proven drunkenness, 22 for talking on a cell phone, 7 for alcoholic breath, 85 for inadequate lights, and 17 for expired licenses .
