The Symphonic Band of the city of Buenos Aires offered this Thursday afternoon a concert in front of the Buenos Aires government headquarters, where he demanded that Horacio Rodriguez Larreta that complies with ordinances and court rulings that provide better salaries for its members.
“We did a protest concert and we coincided with social organizations that made other claims, wages Y Labor conditions; we are all in the same, we are workers”, she pointed out in dialogue with Télam, Marisa Pucci, member of the Symphonic Band since 2006.
The protest began around 2:00 p.m. Buenos Aires Government Houselocated at Uspallata 3150, in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios, and there the members of the band performed the Argentine National Anthem and two more pieces from their usual repertoire to claim for the breach of Ordinance 45,604 of the district.
“It is a real pride to be part of this talented team of musicians, in addition to doing what we like, we have a very important social work, we play in parks and squares, schools, cultural centers, generally for those people who cannot pay a ticket to these kinds of shows,” said Pucci, a native of Mar del Plata.
“We have had an ordinance for 30 years that was never fulfilledor, for which they owe us salary differences, teaching seniority, maintenance of instruments, transportation and clothing, which we have had to assume, “said the woman, and recalled that” the expenses related to the instruments are very expensive because they are valued in dollars. ”.
Pucci highlighted the support of fellow members of the Band who have already retired and came to “bank the claim”.

Nevertheless, the Buenos Aires Executive “never complied with the sentence and the accounts he had at Banco Ciudad were seized,” explained the music.
“We have the money deposited several months ago, and the judge even ordered the transfer in our favor, but the city government is opposed to charging us,” he added.
“We ask Horacio Rodríguez Larreta to stop obstructing justice and order the immediate payment of a food lawsuit that has already lasted 20 years and three years of final judgment in compliance with Ordinance 45604 that governs our labor regime” , he concluded.
