In the midst of the investigations and proceedings of the Prosecutor’s Office carried out to the Minedu and the INEI, a resolution was published, signed by the Deputy Minister of Pedagogical Management Nelly Palomino, with which he suspends the appointment test, which is part of the aforementioned schedule.
Through the document, the deputy minister resolves “to suspend the development of the activities provided for in the Schedule of the Public Contest for Entrance to the Public Teaching Career-2021 and that Determines the Charts of Merit for the Contracting of Teachers 2022-2023 in Public Educational Institutions of Basic education”.
Through a statement, the Ministry of Education indicated that the complaints about the dissemination of the examination led the agency to request the intervention of the Public Ministry and requested “speed in the investigations and to fully clarify the responsibilities” of the case. However, it is known that the proceedings of the Public Prosecutor’s Office began after the scandal became known through the media.
