Appointed Judicial Commission of the TSJ

The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), presided over by Judge Gladys María Gutiérrez Alvarado, appointed and swore in the Full Chamber the members of the Judicial Commission of the High Court, who promised after their swearing-in to work permanently and in a coordinated manner to continue offering the Venezuelan people a judicial service with quality, efficiency and speed, refers to a press release from the agency.

In the session of the Plenary Chamber, the Magistrates that make up the Supreme Court agreed that the Judicial Commission of the TSJ be chaired by Judge Gladys María Gutiérrez Alvarado, who also heads the Board of Directors of the TSJ and the Constitutional Chamber.

The other five members of the Judicial Commission are: Judge Edgar Gavidia Rodríguez, first vice president of the TSJ and president of the Social Cassation Chamber; Judge Henry José Timaure Tapia, Second Vice President of the High Court and President of the Civil Cassation Chamber; Judge Malaquías Gil Rodríguez, president of the Political-Administrative Chamber; Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez, President of the Electoral Chamber; and Judge Elsa Janeth Gómez Moreno, president of the Criminal Cassation Chamber.

The president of the Supreme Court, Judge Gladys María Gutiérrez Alvarado, assured that they will work with professionalism, responsibility, ethics and determination to continue the process of optimization and modernization of the Judiciary, as well as the Justice System in the nation.
