We are just over two years away from the next elections where the next person who will govern the country will be defined and although problems continue to infest the country, the political leadership does not seem to find how to “click” with the inhabitants.
COVID persists and the guard has been completely lowered, the extraction of minors, femicides, massacres, robberies with violence, kidnappings, murders of journalists, the marginalization that is increasing, among dozens of etceteras. Everything is repeated, it only accumulates, the crisis is being recycled; spinning, as if in a limbo.
And meanwhile, political polarization keeps the upper echelon fighting among themselves, for a chair, a position or recognition. Without clear solutions, firm leadership or defense of just causes. Who are the “good guys” and who are the “bad guys”? Who cares, everyone is distant!
The call to the polls in 2022
A few weeks before the gubernatorial elections, in the states of Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Quintana Roo, Oaxaca and Tamaulipas, it is shown that the country is politicized only among the power groups, while the population is discouraged, hopeless and apathetic in participating in the fairs, which could become the most soulless in history, in each of the entities.
Perhaps for the big political parties, this situation is favorable. Finally, the fewer votes, the easier it will be to mobilize your registered voters. But the scenario affects too much in terms of foreign investment, civil participation and the sad situation we have had for decades of voting “for the least worse.” Without understanding why we have so many politicians without a vision of the future.
The doomsayers of the disaster say that we will experience a major new health problem: acute childhood hepatitis, which is already beginning to take lives. A disease that is causing around the world of unknown cause. How prepared could governments be if this situation escalates? How much have they learned from the epidemic that continues to attack us?
