The retroactive salary increase must be paid until May 31, according to resolution

The retroactive payment of the salary increase and the application of the 2022 national minimum wage must be completed by Tuesday, May 31reported the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Welfare.

“For the purpose of complying with the retroactive payment, Employers will take the provisions for the signing of the Collective Agreement for Salary Increase” also until May 31 of this managementindicates Ministerial Resolution 544/22, which regulates the application of the benefit in the private sector.

The regulation is issued after the Government and the Central Obrera Boliviana (COB) will agree to an increase of 3% on basic wages and 4% to the minimum wage.

According to the regulation, “The negotiation base is 3% of the basic remuneration, which does not prevent higher percentages of increase from being established”.

The Collective Salary Increase Agreement, which minimally contemplates the express will of the parties, their legal generals, the name or company name of the parties and the agreed percentage, must be presented until June 30, with the exception ofThe mining sector, which may present the Collective Agreement until July 29.

For its part, the national minimum wage (of Bs 2,250) will be applicable to all workers with an employment relationship in conditions of subordination and dependency, work for others, who receives remuneration in any of its forms and under any form of employment contract.
