As a result, the indicator accumulates an inflation rate of 12.13% in 12 months, almost a third of that recorded in May 2021 (35.91%).

The fall in the rate from April to May was driven by the three sub-indices that make up the IGP-10. The Broad Producer Price Index (IPA), which measures wholesale, dropped from 2.81% in April to 0.08% in May.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures retail, fell from 1.67% in April to 0.54% in May. The National Construction Cost Index (INCC) changed from 1.17% to 0.74%.
