A palm tree fell on a house in Paso de la Arena and killed a young man

A 23-year-old man died on Monday afternoon at the a palm tree fell on a house in the area of ​​Paso de la Arena, as a consequence of the strong winds of the last few hours over the south of the country. This was reported by Underlined and confirmed to El Observador by the spokesman for the National Directorate of Firefighters, Pablo Benítez.

Everything happened in a house located in Mario Pérez and Lomas de Zamora. The young man lived there, who was trapped when the tree fell on the house.

Another man, present at the scene at the time, managed to get out and asked some neighbors for help, who managed to remove the wounded man. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters cut and removed the palm tree, while a medical emergency attended to the young man who died shortly after.
