Subcontracted workers of Enap held a march in Hualpén due to the company’s failure to resolve labor demands

Subcontracted workers from Enap held a march and demonstration this morning on the Hualpén waterfront with Av. Las Golondrinas, after accusing the company of absence from the negotiation table to resolve labor demands.

This fact caused great vehicular congestion in the place, complicating traffic on one of the routes from Concepción to Talcahuano.

The workers accuse Enap of little will to solve the problems. The president of Fenatrasub, Víctor Sepúlveda, commented to Biobío that “Enap has not resolved absolutely anything in two weeks of conflict.”

Through a statement, Fenatrasub accused Enap of missing a meeting scheduled for Friday May 15 established by the Labor Directorate, announced on Thursday 14, in its capacity as mediator in this matter.

The Labor Directorate once again summoned a dialogue table for Saturday the 15th, where Enap representatives did not appear again, as mentioned in the Fenatrasub statement, where they took advantage of anticipating their mobilization on this day.
