According to the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Armed Forces (Ceofan), General in Chief Domingo Hernandez Larezthe activity is part of the Operation “Bolivarian Shield 2022”.
The military chief also indicated, this Sunday, that “all the structures of the Colombian Drug Trafficking Armed Terrorists (tancol) built in Venezuelan territory that serve as logistical support for weapons, ammunition, explosives, jet fuel, drugs, laboratories, camps, will be destroyed. Venezuela is not for sale!
On May 2, the head of Ceofan pointed out that “airplanes from the North mock the sovereignty of our homeland, looking for Tancol packages. We will disable all the runways, facilities and planes of these narco invaders.”
The FAN does not stop reporting on the operations it indicates it carries out in the border area against “terrorist” groups. On Saturday, May 14, that the militia Cross-country patrolling and reconnaissance began with the Los Andes Rapid Reaction Units (URRA).
That same day, it was reported that the FAN, through Operation Catatumbo Lightning, on the banks of the Tarra River, dismantled a Tancol camp, “dedicated to supplying airplane fuel and logistical material to the illegal runways of the South of the Lake.”
