Studying English and working in Ireland at the same time is the innovative proposal of NED College, an English school with more than a decade of experience, through which 32,000 students from all over the world have already passed. To publicize its different programs, the school enabled its NED Fair in Paraguay, a face-to-face meeting that brought together more than a hundred people in a free informative talk. Due to the high demand of interested parties, the fair will continue in virtual mode on Saturday, May 28, at 2:30 p.m.

The first talk of the NED Fair, held on May 7, at Paseo La Galería, brought together 120 people interested in learning about the experience offered by NED College of studying English in Ireland, being able to combine learning the language with a part-time job. time or full-time. “Learning English has always been my pending subject, it is something fundamental for work and life. Now a new goal begins for me. Based on the experiences of this talk, I am encouraged to say that I want to be part of this experience,” said Sonia Mendoza, one of the attendees at the face-to-face fair.

Around 150 Paraguayans have already participated in NED College programs. One of them, Ana López, added her voice to the face-to-face talk. “The experience at the school was fantastic because you have classmates from all over the world, so the only common language is English and that makes learning the language easier. The location of the school is also very good, and they helped me with work and housing,” she mentioned.

In addition to receiving first-hand information, those attending the fair had access to the raffle for scholarships and other benefits. Carlos Romero, for example, obtained a scholarship that includes payment for his studies and an eight-month visa. “Being able to study English is a great opportunity that life gives me, I am very happy,” he said excitedly.

The face-to-face NED Fair is over, but those interested in studying at NED College can still join the virtual fair on Saturday, May 28, at 2:30 p.m. Registrations are made in this link. Notification to attend this virtual meeting will arrive by email.

How to study?
Founded in 2010, NED College has offices in the Irish cities of Dublin and Limerick. Its courses are aimed at people 18 years of age and older; they can be of short duration (less than 12 weeks) and long duration (more than 25 weeks). It is not necessary to have previous English, since before the start of classes a written and an oral exam are developed that allow the student to be placed at the appropriate level.

NED College has an alliance with the University of Cambridge and from this year incorporates the International English Testing System (IELTS), a widely used English language evaluation system in the academic and work environment. It is required for university studies, jobs or migration processes to Anglo-Saxon countries. The institution has two modalities for the IELTS: 25-week courses and 12-week courses for people with an upper-intermediate or advanced level.

The school runs English classes from Monday to Friday which are complemented by extracurricular activities and opportunities for additional trips. It offers a support system in which each student receives attention from a local reference in their native language, guidance in the visa application, procedures, advice on types of accommodation and everything related to life in Ireland.

The entrance Call for Paraguayans interested in studying English and working in Ireland was first published in diary TODAY.
