The National Central of Unified Carriers (CNTU) asked the Government to include it in the corridors that the State facilitates through adjudications in the different avenues for the leaders of said union.
The president of the CNTU, William Pérez Figuereo, said that the members of this union movement are going through different economic situations because the Government has not taken them into account for the new modality of the State with transportation.
However, Pérez Figuereo announced that they have met with different authorities so that they give “official participation to people who have 30, 50 years working in transportation.”

“We support this new mode of transportation and President Luis Abinader knows it, but our members are concerned because this is the date they have not called us to tell us which corridor or corridors will correspond to us,” he said.
During a press conference, the president of the CNTU told the Hoy newspaper photojournalist, Pablo Matos, that entity meets all the conditions to be taken into account, mainly on John F. Kennedy Avenue, where they have a large number of their affiliates.
