Ebrard highlights vaccines
Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard traveled to Durango to express his support for Marina Vitela, who is a brunette candidate for the governorship and in her speech highlighted what was done with the vaccines against covid and highlighted that thanks to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador access was achieved.
“It was the President of the Republic who proposed universal access to vaccines, he was the one who proposed it at the G20, when no one was talking about it,” said the foreign minister.
He recalled that since studies were being carried out in various countries of the world to obtain the vaccine, the president has spoken with some of his counterparts to obtain the doses that have saved lives.
“President López Obrador obtained those vaccines, he spoke with the president of Russia, of China, of the United States, with all the organizations and with that prestige, because he says, ‘if you have strength within your country, you have the support of the population. , then you can talk about great things outside,’ so what does it translate to? In getting vaccines, when there were none, medical equipment, face masks, and defeating the pandemic… at least controlling it, “he said.
I thank Marina Vitela for her invitation to Durango this morning to share the international vision of Mexico, the link with the Durango community in the US, as well as the Economic Dialogue with that country. pic.twitter.com/kQXsxk53SU
