With a duration of 30 minutes, the children’s program will be broadcast on Saturdays by the state channel Bolivia TV.
According to a newsletter from the Ministry of the Presidency, 1000 Días is a multiplatform and transmedia television program, aimed at mothers, fathers and children in early childhood in peri-urban and popular areas, showing experiences of caring for parents with their children to promote better practices of the same among society ”.
The new proposal includes tips, ideas and examples on the loving and sensitive care of children in their first stage of life, taught in an agile and entertaining way, with music, animation, participation of experts and interviews.
“Our children deserve attention and what better during the 1000 days, the first three years, share experiences from different regions, contribute to give them better opportunities. Our boys and girls are our present and future ”, stated the Vice Minister of Communication, Gabriela Alcón during the presentation in La Paz.
The Vice Minister of Equal Opportunities, Miriam Huacani, stressed that this is the result of the work carried out in this strategic alliance between vice ministries, directorates and technical teams.
For his part, the representative of Unicef, Rafael Ramírez, highlighted the joint work with state institutions to carry out the project for the benefit of Bolivian parents and children.
“Everything that is positive changes, innovative ideas, ways to reach the population, to improve parenting, the development of our children, well, Unicef will always be there to support,” he said.
Unicef studies show that children from birth to three years of age develop and learn more quickly when they receive affection, understanding, care, stimulation in an enriching environment and health care.
