Nine vaccination points against Covid-19 will be enabled for this Saturday in the Santa Cruz capital, centers distributed in different areas of the city, both in the health networks: North, Center and East.

The points enabled in the North network They are: Lazareto Health Center, San Antonio Health Center, DM-5 Health Center, October 10 Health Center, all of them will attend from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Besides the Caja Petrolera de Salud (CPS) Guaracachi Hospital, which will attend from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
In the Este health network, only in a mobile post will apply the dose, the same one that will be located in the Hypermaxi of Villa Primero de Mayo, where ProSalud staff will immunize the population. This point will be enabled from 9:00 to 15:00.
And the last two vaccination centers open for this Saturday are in the Centro health network: one at the Elvira Wunderlich Health Center and one at the San Carlos Health Center, both will attend for 11 continuous hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Health Service (Headquarters), yesterday it was possible to immunize 2.658 people, a figure with which in the department it is possible to have a vaccination coverage of 58% with first doses, 46% with second doses and 16% with third doses or booster doses.
The authorities insist on maintaining biosecurity measures and complying with the vaccination scheme to avoid complications of the disease, that despite the low rate of infection there are still people fighting for their lives.
In the rooms of the Intensive Care Units (ICU) of hospitals, there are currently 27 hospitalized patientss, fighting the disease, 20 of them are attached to an artificial respirator.
