JEP quotes version to the inspector of the Military Forces for the false positives

“Mr. FORERO TASCÓN must attend accompanied by his trusted defender or request the assignment of a lawyer assigned to the Autonomous Counseling and Defense System – SAAD”, indicates the decision of the JEP.

Due to these same facts, the JEP magistrates also ordered a summons for next June 16 and 17 to retired General Pablo Alfonso Bonilla Vásquez.

According to investigations between 2005 and 2006, the official acted as colonel and commander of No. 4 Mechanized Cavalry Group “John of the Corral”

Likewise, it transpired that during that time, There were cases of false positives in that military unit and therefore, the need for retired General Bonilla Vásquez to deliver his version.

For its part, the Military Forces declared themselves respectful of the decision of the JEP and they stated that in the case of General Juan Pablo Forero Tascón, he will exercise his right to due process before the summons issued by the magistrates of that special court.
