The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Euclides Acevedo, began his official working visit to Japan. Today he held a coordination meeting at the headquarters of the Paraguayan Embassy, in Tokyo.
The national chancellor gave interviews to two Japanese newspapers; to the Yomiuri Shimbun, to speak about international affairs and Paraguayan foreign policy, and to the Nikkei Shimbun, about investment opportunities and Paraguay-Japan trade, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
In addition, the Paraguayan minister decorated the president of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Hiroshi Yamakawa and the president of the Kyushu Research and Development Institute (Kyutech), Yuji Oie, for their cooperation in the framework of the GuaraniSat satellite project.
With this visit, which will run until tomorrow, Monday, November 22, it seeks to strengthen ties between the two countries and address the issues that make up the Paraguay-Japan bilateral agenda.
