2,649 new infections and 39 more deaths from covid were reported

This Sunday, November 21, they reported 2,649 new infections of covid-19 in the country, after processing 41,587 tests (24,157 for PCR and 17,430 for antigens).

With these new positives, the country reached 5,048,061 cases of infections in the last year and eight months. And in that time 27’691,168 tests were analyzed.

Of the total number of infections, 4,888,278 have been recovered and 14,293 are still active.

Bogotá (1’460,332), Antioquia (765,130), Valle del Cauca (414,890), Atlántico (336,914) and Cundinamarca (265,862), the areas of the country where the majority of cases are concentrated.

In the death section, 39 more were reported, of which 36 occurred in previous days.

And the total number of deaths caused by the virus has been 128,093.

As of November 19, 61,209,154 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 53,606,557 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 23’544.341.

Worldwide, 257,490,283 people have been infected with coronavirus and 5,150,099 have died.
